How it WorksAldon Community ManagerAldon Community Manager helps simplify ALM for complex environments. It enters all change requests and incident reports into a central repository. Its built-in workflow engine routes those change requests or incidents as tasks and assigns them to appropriate staff members for review, approval and/or fulfillment. As these tasks are completed, Aldon Community Manager automatically updates the status and moves them into the next workflow stage. You have the ability to track time, cost, and other pertinent information about activities. For application development, Aldon Community Manager can pass information to Aldon Lifecycle Manager in order to manage development tasks and change management request. For IT services, Aldon Community Manager integrates with Aldon CMDB and other configuration management databases. Aldon CMDBAldon’s CMDB can be populated with a discovery tool, imported from other sources or CMDBs, or done manually. Once completed, you can review and assess the configuration items. This final list of configuration items then becomes the baseline for your CMDB configuration, so when anything changes, the system will notify you. |
